Aerospace industry

Light components with complete functional reliability for maximum safety and lower emissions. Production and installation processes meet EN 9100 standards.

High-performance plastics and alloy metals for the aerospace industry

Your components and products have be absolutely reliable in any task, even in extreme ambient conditions. At the same time, the weight needs to be as low as possible in order to benefit payload and fuel consumption.

High-performance materials

In addition to lightweight metals like titanium and aluminium, a number of high-performance plastics also meet the high standards required in this field. Depending on the application, the required material specifications offer:

  • High heat resistance,
  • specific properties for fire prevention,
  • mechanical values,
  • high resistance to ageing
  • or resistance to radiation or chemical substances.

Procurement and production of your components

You can choose from a comprehensive range of semi-finished plastic products which will satisfy your individual needs and requirements. We procure specific alloy metals for the aerospace industry on an order-by-order basis.

A selection of cutting-edge production equipment is available for manufacturing high-precision, machined finished components and assemblies made from plastic and metal. As a result, we are able to produce complex parts with outstanding dimensional reliability in line with the strictest tolerance standards.

A wide range of surface treatments can be applied in conjunction with our partner suppliers.

Structural suspension

As a light-weight and corrosion-resistant material, aluminium is used for a range of applications in aircraft construction and in many cases is also combined with plastic. In aircraft construction, many structural components are secured using push-pull rods, which are normally made from glass-reinforced or carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic rods with forked metal ends to be secured in the anchoring.
